WASHINGTON - House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson commended the House of Representatives for passing the conference report on the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (H.R. 4173).
WASHINGTON - On June 30, 2010, the House Agriculture Committee passed legislation to expand U.S. agriculture trade and increase jobs, approving historic legislation that will greatly expand trade of U.S. agriculture products to Cuba. H.R. 4645, the Travel Restriction Reform and Export Enhancement Act, is a bipartisan bill introduced by Chairman Peterson and co-sponsored by 62 Members of Congress, including Rep. Jerry Moran of Kansas. The bill passed the Committee by a vote of 25-20.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On May 18, 2010, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin C. Peterson held a field hearing in Sioux Falls, S.D., to review U.S. agriculture policy as the Committee begins the process of writing the 2012 Farm Bill. This was the eighth in a series of hearings scheduled across the country to consider new ideas regarding Federal food and farm policy.
