WASHINGTON (March 29, 2022) – Chairman David Scott of Georgia and Commodity Exchanges, Energy, and Credit Subcommittee Chair Antonio Delgado released the following statement congratulating Christy Goldsmith Romero, Kristin N. Johnson, Summer Kristine Mersinger, and Caroline D. Pham on their approval by the Senate as Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Commissioners:

“I extend my sincerest congratulations to the newest CFTC Commissioners. As a Georgian, I am proud to see Kristin Johnson, an Emory Law Professor, among this group of individuals, and look forward to working with them all,” said Chairman David Scott.
