Chairman David Scott Announces Fall Intern

WASHINGTON – House Agriculture Committee Chairman David Scott is pleased to announce the fall intern for the Democratic staff of the House Agriculture Committee.

Madeleine Ring graduated from Delaware Valley University in May with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science: Livestock Science and Production. She recently concluded an internship with the American Society of Animal Science where she worked with the National Institute of Food and Agriculture’s Legislative and Stakeholders Coordinators. Madeleine has previous work experience in research and production settings related to crop production, swine, dairy, and beef cattle. She is interested in learning more about the policy formation process related to conservation, livestock, and research heading into the upcoming farm bill. She plans to continue work within the agricultural policy space on Capitol Hill after completing her internship.
