WASHINGTON – Below is a statement from House Agriculture Committee Chairman David Scott following the confirmation of Vincent Garfield Logan to serve as a member of the Farm Credit Administration Board.

“Congratulations to Mr. Logan on his confirmation to serve the food and agriculture sectors through this new leadership position. In good times and bad, farmers depend on a safe agricultural credit system. Mr. Logan’s experiences, including his most recent role as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer with the Native American Agriculture Fund, prepare him well to serve as a member of the Farm Credit Administration Board. He will bring a valuable perspective to this position, and I look forward to seeing his contributions to such an important credit system for our farmers and ranchers,” said Chairman David Scott.
