Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I appreciate you bringing these important bills before the Committee today.
These bills show the breadth of what this Committee does.
From helping our producers, conserving our forests and farms, protecting American agriculture from pests and disease, to research. The Agriculture Committee touches every American.
These bills are being considered today because our diverse Agriculture Committee Members have great ideas. And I want to thank them, and their staff, for working so hard for their constituents.
I applaud them for rolling up their sleeves to get to the good work of solving problems and improving the programs that our constituents rely on.
Mr. Chairman, I want to thank your staff as well as my own staff for their work on these bills as well.
