Ranking Member Angie Craig Marks Trump’s First 100 Days with 100 Headlines
Today, House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Angie Craig (MN-02) released the following statement regarding President Trump’s first 100 days in office.
“Family farmers are struggling right now. They need certainty. They need access to new markets and stability within established ones. Trump’s on-again, off-again tariffs make it impossible for farmers and businesses to plan and gives our competitors footholds into markets our farmers rely on. Trade wars make our established and prospective trading partners lose trust in us. The instability, poor communication and threats to allies make it tough to regain the market access we’ve lost and to develop the new market opportunities we need. We don’t need reckless trade wars. We need to pass a bipartisan farm bill to give farm country the certainty it needs,” said Ranking Member Craig .
