U.S. House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Collin C. Peterson, D-Minn., today announced the Democratic members and leadership for the Agriculture Committee’s six Subcommittees. Peterson will serve as an ex officio member of all Subcommittees.
WASHINGTON - On July 20, 2010, Congressman Mike McIntyre, D-N.C., Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee’s Subcommittee on Rural Development, Biotechnology, Specialty Crops, and Foreign Agriculture, held a hearing to review the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s rural development programs in advance of the 2012 Farm Bill.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – On June 28, 2010, the House Agriculture Committee held a field hearing in Fayetteville, N.C., to review U.S. agriculture policy, as the Committee began the process of writing the 2012 Farm Bill.
